Laurie Pezzente (Senior Vice President & Chief Security Officer), Adam Evans (Vice President and Chief Information Security Officer), and Stacey Romanello (Regional Information Security Officer) from the Royal Bank of Canada (RBC) joined us to talk about getting into cybersecurity, how they stay up to date on the latest trends, and balancing defending against emerging threats while maintaining good cyber hygiene overall. There was a lot of audience engagement, including questions on hiring former black hat hackers, the importance of recruiting and retaining diverse talent, and which new technologies are genuinely interesting (and which are empty buzzwords).
