CTF: Secure Code Tournament

Join us for a gamified online secure coding tournament!!! We will be holding a CTF in conjuction with Secure Code Warrior and Women Who Code! The competition kicks off on Thursday, Jun 18th at 6pm EST and runs until Thursday, June 25th at 6pm EST.

Compete against your peers to identify and fix critical vulnerabilities in real-to-life code snippets! You can choose between 24 frameworks including .Net, Java, Python, Go, Angular, Node, React, iOS, Android, Scala, Ruby, PHP, C++, C, PL/SQL & COBOL!

Secure Code Warrior will provide an overview of the platform at “Women Who Code” June 18th meetup which will be focused on cybersecurity. If you can make it great! If not, we will have a thread on our Slack channel for questions. You can also watch a 2-min Tournament explainer on Youtube!

Prizes:

Instructions:

[1] Register for the Secure Code Warrior platform here!

NOTE: if you have an existing SCW login please create new account with your personal email. 

-If you already have an account with your personal email you can still use your personal email, but add +SCW to it at registration, i.e. email wicysnymetro@gmail.com should be changed to wicysnymetro+scw@gmail.com.

[2] Once logged in, click “Tournaments“.

[3] Join the “Women Who Code and WiCyS NYC” Secure Coding Tournament.

Monitor the live leaderboard to see how you are performing!

The Secure Code Warrior platform will be open before and after the tournament so feel free to practice before the CTF in the “Training” tab!
