WiCyS 2021 Conference Scholarships, Fellowships & Grants

Application Deadline for WiCyS Members: March 1st, 12 PM CT

Acceptance notifications: April 5th.

Student Scholarships

Students MUST apply for WiCyS scholarships to attend the conference (there is no general WiCyS 2021 registration for students) and have to be a current WiCyS student member to apply.

All students must apply for registration assistance (includes reduced rate registration that includes all activities and meals). Students receiving the scholarship will pay a minimal $40 registration processing fee instead of the conference registration cost of $450. Optionally, students can request a lodging scholarship (two nights of complimentary shared lodging—September 8 and 9) and/or travel stipend ($500).

Faculty Grants

Faculty must be a WiCyS Student Chapter Advisor or a WiCyS faculty member that has not attended WiCyS in the past.

Faculty Members can apply for a discounted conference registration fee instead of the conference registration cost of $450, lodging (two nights of complimentary shared lodging – September 8 and 9) and/or a travel stipend ($500).

Black, Indigenous, People of Color (BIPOC) Fellowship Awards

For WiCyS members that identify as part of the BIPOC community.

Members of the BIPOC community can apply for a discounted conference registration fee instead of the conference registration cost of $450, lodging (two nights of complimentary shared lodging – September 8 and 9), a travel stipend ($500) and/or a WiCyS membership refund.

Veteran Fellowship Awards

For WiCyS members who are US Veterans.

Veteran members can apply for a discounted conference registration fee instead of the conference registration cost of $450, lodging (two nights of complimentary shared lodging – September 8 and 9) and/or a travel stipend ($500).
